What is required to commission LLM Costumes?
This page will explain the proper way to commission a fursuit from LLM Costumes! I will be going over everything from proper reference sheets, to materials I'll need from you!
Fursuit Reference Sheet
Reference sheets are arguably the most important part of the commission process. Reference sheets are the key to making sure your suits design turns out the way you envisioned it! We use these for marking placement, color matching, expression construction, just to name a few things! If the reference is difficult to read (has shading, markings that are too small, gradients, etc) this could effect the outcome of your fursuit.
I will be going over the do's and donts below, and will be giving examples of which fursuit references work best when commissioning LLM!
FURSUIT REFERENCE SHEETS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO TRANSLATE INTO A FURSUIT OR I WOULD NOT ACCEPT:
These reference sheets would either need editing, or would not be acceptable for either one or multiple reasons stated below:

-SHADING

-GRADIENTS

-TINY MARKINGS

-OVERLY COMPLEX MARKINGS

-TRADITIONAL MEDIA REFERENCE
SHEETS (YES, I REQUIRE DIGITAL REFERENCE SHEETS)

-NON REFERENCE SHEETS (SENDING MULTIPLE IMAGES OF YOUR CHARACTER)

These details make reading your characters design extremely difficult and may result in errors during your suits production. It's best to avoid these details while making your fursuit reference sheet.

ACCEPTABLE REFERENCE SHEETS
These reference sheets are acceptable, but not 100% ideal. I work best from angles that are straight on, as opposed to three quarter views since it makes markings much easier to read. Some markings may also not be simplified enough to be fursuit friendly, but this is okay as long as the owner is open for simplification!

THE IDEAL REFERENCE SHEETS
These reference sheets are straight forward with the design and easy to read! I work best with non shaded reference sheets with non gradient markings that include a front, sideview (this view helps me a LOT), and back view. Reference sheets with front and back view only are also completely fine! Additional views of the head, paws, tail, etc. are also extremely helpful!
Again, these references have no shading, gradients, clear markings, and multiple views of the character!

Also, REFERENCE SHEETS WITH WHITE BACKGROUNDS ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED! It saves on ink when printing them out!
